KICKgen was officially launched October 2007 by martial artists who have been industry leaders for over twenty years. We marshaled our experiences in martial arts and technology to create KICKgen, an online community - just for martial artists. The reason KICKgen was created was because of a love for martial arts and a desire to help promote and unite martial artists worldwide.
Art, by definition, is a form of personal self-expression. The martial arts are an individual's way of expressing his/her unique abilities in a practical method of self-defense, exercise and mental discipline. As with any art form, this is best expressed by sharing with others who have the same passion. KICKgen is a community through which martial artists from all over the world can express their love of the art with each other.
Privacy and Safety. KICKgen was created with safety in mind. That is why every photo and video is approved by a KICKgen staff member prior to public viewing. In addition, members are encouraged and rewarded to report any questionable content. All are welcome at KICKgen and a top priority is that this is a space that is safe for all ages.
Whose on the KICKgen team? A year ago we were a team of one and now we are a growing team who work on all aspects of business related to KICKgen. In case you haven't met everyone: I am Mike McCoy, Cheif Executive Officer and the leader of the KICKgen team. I am very proud of these guys!
