HAPKIDO

Hapkido is a diverse Korean martial art. Joint locks, pressure points, sweeps, throws, kicks, and other techniques are used in hapkido self-defense. Practitioners train to counter the energy of an attack and use that energy against the attacker. Hapkido emphasizes three principles: fluid motion, circular motion, and harmony of motion. The hapkidoist will use footwork and body positioning to control the opponent.
